"Social Clubs"

One of the cool things about Australia is that each type of social activity has an associated “club” supporting it. Membership in this club gets you admission, drinks, newsletters, etc. For example, there’s a AFL club, a rugby club, a sailing club, and a horse racing club. Think of it as a country club but for a specific activity and not nearly as costly. I think it’s pretty cool – another thing to put on the Australian export list.
